Our terms and conditions

Last updated: 16 October 2026

These terms apply when you create an account and use KINND at kinnd.eu and app.kinnd.eu. By creating an account you accept the terms.

This is a translation. If the Danish and English versions differ, the Danish version applies.

1. Who we are

KINND is provided by WURK ApS, CVR no. 37547395, Skoleholdervej 91, 2400 Copenhagen NV, Denmark. You can contact us at support@kinnd.eu. We communicate in Danish and English.

2. The service

KINND is a web app where parents, co-parents, guardians and invited family plan and coordinate daily life around their children. You can share a calendar, information about the children, messages, moments and media.

KINND is only a tool for collaboration and sharing. We do not mediate, resolve family conflicts or decide on custody, residence or contact. Content in KINND is not legal, health or other professional advice, and the service is not intended for emergencies.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account. Children cannot have their own login.
  • You must give correct information and keep it up to date.
  • The account is personal. You may not share your login with others.
  • Logging in with a password always requires a one-time code sent by email or SMS. This cannot be switched off. If you log in with Google or Microsoft, their login protects your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect that someone else has gained access to your account.

4. Child profiles and invitations

You may only create or access a child profile if you hold parental responsibility for the child, are the child’s guardian, or are invited by a person entitled to give you access. You are responsible for the people you invite and for the information you add about children and others.

We may ask for documentation and may block access to a child profile if we have reason to believe the access is unauthorised.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Plans, prices, trial, payment, plan changes, right of withdrawal, cancellation and what happens when a subscription ends are described in the subscription terms. You accept them when you start a trial or buy a subscription. If these terms and the subscription terms differ on a subscription matter, the subscription terms apply.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you put in KINND. You give us a non-exclusive right to store, process and display the content to the people you share with, solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to share it. You can ask to receive your original media files.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • share illegal content, including sexual material involving children, threats, or content that infringes others’ rights
  • harass, monitor or pressure other users
  • obtain unauthorised access, for yourself or others, to a child’s information or another person’s account
  • pretend to be someone else or give false information about your relation to a child
  • circumvent security measures, test vulnerabilities without agreement, or collect data automatically
  • use KINND commercially or resell access

8. Reporting content and our actions

You can report illegal content or misuse in the app or to abuse@kinnd.eu. This address is also our point of contact for authorities and users under the EU Digital Services Act.

  • We assess reports in a timely, diligent and objective manner. The assessment is made by people.
  • We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close an account if the terms or the law have been breached.
  • You receive a statement of reasons for the action and can complain to us at the same address. We handle the complaint without undue delay.
  • We do not monitor content generally.
  • If we confirm an unlawful matter, or suspect a serious crime, we report it to the police and hand over relevant information.

9. Operation, quality and changes to the service

We provide the service in accordance with the agreement and keep it updated, including security updates. Short interruptions may occur due to maintenance and faults.

We may develop and change features. If a change materially worsens your use, you are told in reasonable time and can cancel at no cost.

If the service is defective, you have the rights under the Danish Sale of Goods Act rules on digital services. Contact us and we will remedy the defect, give a proportionate price reduction or refund under those rules.

10. Calendar and task sync (Google and Microsoft)

  • You can choose to show KINND appointments and tasks in your Google or Microsoft account. Sync is optional and starts only when you connect your account in the app.
  • KINND only creates and manages its own “KINND” calendar and task list in your account. KINND never reads your other calendars.
  • What is sent depends on the detail level you choose. Section 5 of the privacy policy describes it.
  • When items are in your Google or Microsoft account, Google’s or Microsoft’s terms also apply. If you share the KINND calendar or task list with others, they can see the items. You decide who you share it with.
  • KINND is always the correct version. We are not responsible for Google’s or Microsoft’s services or for delays in their sync.
  • You can disconnect at any time in the app settings, or remove KINND’s access in your Google or Microsoft account.

11. Our rights

KINND, including software, design, name and logo, belongs to WURK ApS. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for as long as the agreement runs.

12. Liability

We are liable under the general rules of Danish law. We are not liable for:

  • content that users put in KINND, or disagreements between users
  • decisions you make based on information in KINND
  • indirect loss
  • matters beyond our control (force majeure)

These limits do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence and do not restrict your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13. Termination by us

We may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ notice and will then refund prepaid amounts for the remaining period. In case of material breach, such as a serious breach of section 4 or 7, we may terminate the agreement immediately.

14. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. If you are the only parent on a child profile, the child’s data is deleted too. You confirm the deletion through an emailed link that expires after 24 hours.

15. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our privacy policy at kinnd.eu/privacy.

16. Changes to the terms

We may change the terms. Material changes are notified by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

17. Complaints

Write to support@kinnd.eu first. If we cannot find a solution, you can complain to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (Center for Klageløsning), Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, through naevneneshus.dk. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help.

18. Governing law and venue

The agreement is governed by Danish law, and disputes are settled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection given by the mandatory rules of your country of residence and can bring proceedings there.
